Our electricity market courses are widely recognised as the most comprehensive in their subject areas, using market simulations, informative exercises and video. Our expert trainer Greg Sise has presented training courses since 1997, and offers in-depth and current insights in every course.
Due to the restrictions on flights, we are extending where we offer our training by including an option in Wellington.
We will continue to offer facilitated face-to-face training in Dunedin later in the year, but the next round of courses will be in Wellington, from 30 June – 2 July 2020.
We also tailor in-house training designed to meet your organisation's specific needs for up-skilling in any area relevant to the market and pricing aspects of the electricity sector including wholesale, retail, hedge, frequency keeping and reserves markets, distribution and transmission pricing, electricity and gas procurement. We now also offer online versions of the courses for groups.
Our public courses in Dunedin are run at our offices in historic Consultancy House, New Zealand's first reinforced concrete 'skyscraper'. Later this year when flights return to normal, we expect to have three direct flights each business day Wellington-Dunedin and Auckland-Dunedin and several hotels within easy walking distance from our offices.
The Energy Procurement for Businesscourse is run in conjunction with EMANZ and is intended for larger consumers of electricity, to develop skills and knowledge relevant to purchasing electricity and gas.   Read more >>
